ABOUT AIDS WALK
AIDS Fund, supports HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and services in the Delaware Valley Region by raising dollars and increasing public awareness about the impact of HIV on our communities. Currently, 30 partner organizations are receiving funding as a result of AIDS Fund’s activities to provide critical HIV prevention education and care services.
AIDS Walk Philly is the Delaware Valley’s largest annual HIV/AIDS public awareness and fundraising event. Each year, thousands of people join with celebrities, community leaders, friends and neighbors in a walk-a-thon and 5K Run to make a lasting statement about our commitment to conquering HIV/AIDS.
Each participant is asked to raise funds by soliciting sponsors – your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers. You can register as an individual or you can participate as part of a team. Either way, you’ll be raising money from your sponsors that will go to fight HIV/AIDS in the Delaware Valley.
